It's Just in CASE Thursday, the day where Patsy Waggoner and I share a card we've created using a sketch from one of the current catalogues. We sometimes copy the card exactly or we change up the stamps and the colours. It's much easier to create I think when you use another card for inspiration.
CASE = Copy and Share Everything
The card I CASEd used the So Many Shells stamp set and is featured on page 39 of the Annual Catalogue.
The brick work in this card is made using the new Embossing Paste.
My card features the Coffee Break Suite of products including the Coffee Cafe Photopolymer Stamp Set and matching Coffee Cups Framelits Dies.
I love how the Embossing Paste adds dimension to a simple card front. The Coffee Break Designer Series Paper is fabulous. And here's a fun fact! The images in one of the papers matches the tiny coffee cup thinlit perfectly so you can cut them out!
- 12" x 12"
- 12 sheets – 2 each of 6 double-sided designs
- Early Espresso, Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Sky, Soft Suede, Whisper White
I used one of the other patterns in the Pattern Party Decorative Masks collection. I coloured the Embossing Paste with Pear Pizzazz reinker (just one drop and a little bit of paste). The paste dries quickly on the mask so wash it off right after using so it doesn't harden.
Here are the products I used in my card today.
