It's Just in CASE Thursday the day that Patsy Waggoner and I share a card we have CASED (Copy and Share Everything) from one of our current catalogues. It can be an exact copy or it can be a different stamp set or colours.
Today I CASED a card from page 48 of the 2017 Holiday Catalogue using the Painted Harvest Stamp Set.
The colours in the original card are a fall palette including Garden Green and Crushed Curry. This is my take on this card layout.
I substituted Soft Sky, Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry for the flowers and Lemon Lime Twist for the fern. As soon as I stamped these colours together I was WOWed by the combination. Isn't it gorgeous?!
I love the sunflower image because it's a two-step stamping technique – you stamp the first set of petals in a light colour and stamp the second set of petals on top in a darker colour. If you stamp the center first it's easier to line up the petals.
I added some of the fabulous Glitter Enamel Dots randomly on the card. The Glitter Enamel Dots include 160 sparkly, adhesive backed dots in Dapper Denim, Crushed Curry, Berry Burst and Old Olive. They are in 4 sizes and they are ombre (go from light to dark in same hue). I think the lighter dots look like water drops.

I love this stamp set so much – in fact I think it's my favourite from the entire catalogue. Patsy and I love it so much that we are featuring it in our FREE Border Buddy PDF for September. When you place an order of any value in my store you receive a PDF with full instructions for 8 cards using the Painted Autumn Suite. When you place a $50 order you will receive two of the cards in the mail!
I used these products in my card today (click on the picture and you'll be redirected to my online store). You can also print out the supply list for an easy reference while shopping.
