It's Border Buddy Saturday and it's Alison here today. Every month Patsy and I create a free PDF with instructions for 8 cards using a Suite of products from one of our current catalogues. A "suite" usually includes stamps, paper, embellishments and sometimes framelits that all coordinate together making it easy to match products together. This month we are featuring the Quilted Christmas Suite.
My card today features the Christmas Quilt stamp set, Quilt Builder Framelits Dies and the Quilted Christmas 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper. I love that little thread spool that you can cut out with the matching framelit.
I wrapped some Linen Thread around the spool and then cut out the "needle" with the framelit from Silver Foil paper. Doesn't it look like a real needle and thread?
I embossed the card front with the Quilt Top Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and it really looks like you stitched the paper and adds some texture to the card.

Totally love how you wrapped the linen thread around the spool, and tucked in the needle….I do that all the time when I’m sewing. It definitely looks real!

I love this blog! I have downloaded the few that I (realistically) will make but there are so many nice ones. I think you have put your heart into them all.
