It's Card Swap Sunday the day I share a card I've either made for a swap or received from another demonstrator in a swap. Today I'm sharing a swap I made for a swap I do with my friends from across Canada using the Good Tidings Stamp Set from the 2017 Holiday Catalogue.
I love two step stamping. It so easy to get dimension in your images by layering them and using different colours or hue to create the final image. The Good Tidings Stamp Set is photopolymer which means it's even easier to line up the images on on top of the other.
I only used two ink colours for the ivy and the berries – Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler. When you stamp the bolder of the two images you ink it up and stamp off once on a scrap and then stamp on your paper. Then ink the more detailed stamp in the same colour buy stamp full strength on top of the first image.
I think that the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper is one of my all time favourite patterned papers. You get 24 sheets of 12" x 12" paper in both a while on black and black on white offering.
The musical scores are real Christmas Carols!
Every Sunday I share the instructions for my Card Swap Sunday card with my VIP Customers on a private Facebook group. To join place a $50 order during the year and you are automatically added to the group!

I’m loving the Music DSP as well. I’ve got some friends that teach music and I love to use music DSP when making their cards, and this bundle suits Christmas cards perfectly.
Really nice card Alison but do not have this stamp set – darn
gorgeous card, love the layout and the colours!
I love the black and white palette of the paper too!
Thanks Cheryl – try subbing in a different saying for another set – it will work!
Thanks Deborah. I know black and white isn’t popular with everyone for Christmas but I personally love it!
