It's Card Swap Sunday which is the day I share a card I've created for a swap or received in a swap. Today I'm sharing cards I received in a swap featuring products from the Nature's Poem Suite.
One of the best things about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is the community of stampers you meet from all over the world. My card swaps I'm sharing today are from my two favourite Stampin' Up! demonstrators – my sisters Ellie Blake and Mo Dickie, both located in Toronto.
This first card was created by my sister Mo Dickie. I love how she cut some cardstock off the front panel to reveal the inside layer and then stamped the skeleton leaves along the edge.
Mo added some colour with classic inks and an aqua painter on the panel and then stamped the tree in Soft Suede ink on top – it's a dramatic and beautiful effect representing the earth and sky.
My sister Ellie used the same stamp set – Rooted in Nature – along with the Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper. I absolutely love this card design with the lower triangle embossed and the upper triangle a piece of Designer Series Paper.
The Rooted in Nature Stamp Set has matching framelits and when you bundle them together in the Rooted in Nature Bundle you save 10% off the purchase price. I love when Stampin' Up! creates "Suites" of products like this Nature's Poem Suite because it mades coordinating colours so easy! I love this suite so much that it's our featured Suite for our Free Card Program in June.
