One Sheet Wonder – Petal Promenade DSP & Abstract Impressions Stamp Set

Today I'm sharing another card in our One Sheet Wonder series, when Patsy and I each share a card using pieces from the One Sheet Wonder pattern.

This month we're highlighting the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper which is part of the Petal Promenade Suite of products.  We are featuring this Suite in our Free Card programs and on our Suite Saturday Blog Series (every Saturday). 

Here is my card which also features the Abstract Impressions Stamp Set (page 129 in the Annual Catalogue)  .=

The pattern I picked for this month's One Sheet Wonder Series has the floral design on one side and a marbled look on the reverse.

Each package of Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper feature photographic floral designs on one side, marble designs and textured appearance on the other side. You receive 12 sheets, 2 each of 6 designs.  The paper coordinates with Blushing Bride, Fresh Fig, Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather, Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink, Sahara Sand, Smoky Slate, Tranquil Tide, Very VanVanilla and Whisper White. That's a lot of colour choices for your cards! 

 

 Here's how to make today's card with piece C  from the pattern:

Measurements:

Whisper White Thick – 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Whisper White: 3" x 3"
Highland Heather: 5 1/4" x 4"
Mossy Meadow: 3" x 3"
Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper (piece C): 5 1/4" x 2"

Instructions:

1. Score the Whisper White Thick cardstock at 4 1/4" (8 1/2" x 5 1/2") and fold to create card base.
2. Emboss the Highland Heather  with the Subtle Dynamic Embossing Folder using the Big Shot. Glue to the front of the card.
3. Glue the Designer Series Paper to the left side of the Highland Heather approximately 1/2" from the edge.
4. Wrap the tulle ribbon around the middle of the DSP and tie in a bow at the top of the DSP.
5. Glue the Highland Heather piece to the card front.
6. Cut out the medium circle from the Whisper White using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and Big Shot.
7. Stamp the sentiment in Fresh Fig ink on the circle.
8. Cut out a scallop circle from the Mossy Meadow with the Layering Circle Framelits and Big Shot.
9. Glue the stamped circle to the Mossy Meadow mat and pop up with Stampin' Dimenaionals below the bow. 
10. Add a Petal Pink Rhinestone Gem below the sentiment.
