Just in Case – Tropical Oasis Suite

It's Just in Case Thursday – the day where Patsy Waggoner (my Border Buddy) and I share a card we've CASED (copy and selectively edit) from one of our current Stampin' Up! Catalogues. 

Today's card is based on a card from page 38 of the 2020 Mini Catalogue featuring the Tropical Oasis Suite. I used the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set and In the Tropics Dies. My card is based on the concept artist's creation in the lower left corner. This suite reminds me of paradise and takes me away from the snow outside to a warm beach. 

I inked up the palm trees with Pear Pizzazz and Early Espresso Stampin' Write Markers by colouring directly on the stamp. Before I stamped the image I tapped some Old Olive on the palms to add some dimension. I easily cut out the trees with the matching die.
