It's Just in CASE Thursday, Patsy here!
Each Thursday my Border Buddy Alison Solven from Canada and I take turns creating a card that we CASED from a current Stampin’ Up! catalog. CASE stands for (Copy And Selectively Edit). We like to show you how you can use the paper crafting projects in the Stampin’ Up! Catalog to inspire you!
Today's card features the Parisian Beauty Bundle. I was excited to see this stamp set as when I was in my Senior Year our language class had the opportunity to travel to France. I am excited to make some fun decorated photo pages to put in frames for my walls.
Love the saying on this card Life Is Magnificent and it truly is. I have been able to share stamping with stampers across the United States. When I was first a demonstrator (in 1998) I just started to share with my friends and neighbors. I would invite them over for coffee and some stamping it was all very casual. Pretty soon they wanted me to share with their friends and family and over 20 years it has just grown into my full time job.
In the beginning I CASED all my cards to share. I had no idea how to go about creating my own. As I CASEd I begin to change more and more on the card and pretty soon they were my very own creations. When you CASE, you can copy it exactly, or selectively edit it by changing the colors or the stamp set or both.
Today I CASED the card exactly like the one in the catalog. Loved everything about it. Notice the elegant embossed detail from the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder. The paper is from the Parisian Blooms Designer Series Paper.

Card base is Petal Pink Cardstock 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. The Embossed layer of Petal Pink Cardstock is 3 3/4 x 5. The 3 strips of designer paper are 1 1/4 x 3 3/4. When looking at the card you are casing sometimes you have to guesstimate what size to cut the cardstock. The more you do it the better you will get at figuring it out.
