Border Buddies – Tropical Oasis

Hello Stampers, it is Border Buddy Saturday.

Every Saturday Alison and I share a card made using products in our selected suite for the month.   This month we selected the Tropical Oasis Suite.  We each created 4 cards for the monthly PDF.  The PDF has images, supply list, measurements and step by step directions for eight unique cards.   We use the PDF as an exclusive Thank You Gift for the customers who place any size order at our online stores.

Today's card is one of the alternative cards we share each month to give you even more ideas how to use the suite of products.   The sunset was created by sponging on some color on our Glossy White Cardstock.  Simply ink up a Stampin' Dauber or Stampin' Sponge and wipe it on the cardstock.  It is okay to overlap a bit of the colors.  Where the sky meets the water I used a post it note to mask it so it had a nice straight line.

For the sunset I used these Stampin' Up! ink colors…

 

Card Measurements:

• The card base is Whisper White Thick (4 1/4 x 11 & 2 1/2 x 3 1/2)
• Soft Suede (4 x 5 1/4) 
• Old Olive (2 3/4 x 4)
• Glossy White ( 2 1/2 x 3 3/4)
• Terracotta Tile (1 x 2)
