Flowers of Friendship or Hydrangea Haven Which Do You Choose?

May 20, 2021 by Patsy Waggoner

20 May

Hello Stampers it is Just in CASE Thursday, Patsy Waggoner here.

Somedays I sit down at my stamping spot and wonder what should I create today to share with you.  Thursday makes it a bit easier since I know I am going to share a CASE (copy and selectively edit) card.  I simply page through the catalog find a sample I would like to create and start stamping.  The catalog is full of great samples and we love to show you how you can use them to get your creative juices flowing.  Alison Solven (my Border Buddy from Canada) and I take turns creating a card that we CASED.  This week is my turn to CASE.

I choose a card from page 148 featuring the Flowers of Friendship Bundle.  This bundle includes the Flowers of Friendship stamp set and coordinating Flowers & Leaves Punch.   I love punches because they make it so quick and easy to create a card.  When you purchase the stamp set and coordinating punch or die set in a bundle you save 10%.

When you CASE, you can copy it exactly, or selectively edit it by changing the colors or the stamp set or both.  Today is a close case with simply changing the stamp set.  Flowers of Friendship on the left Hydrangea Haven on the right which do you choose as your favorite?

I added a bow to the right of the flower using the Bumble Bee 1/4" Gingham Ribbon.  Gingham is one of my favorite and I was so excited when this was being held over to the new catalog.  Under that little bow is a green finger print of my pinky finger.  Does this ever happen to you when you are creating a card and you are almost done and you get a ink stain on it?  Don't think of it has a mistake think of it as an opportunity to get creative.  How can I cover up this spot?  Don't you think the bow adds a nice final touch?
