Fundraiser for Honour House

I’m hosting a fundraiser for Honour House! Every year prior to Covid my team members and I hosted a fundraiser for a charity close to our hearts. In the past we have raised almost $20,000 for Ronald McDonald House and Honour House. I wanted to offer an online fundraiser this year because getting together in person still isn’t possible. It will look a little different but I hope you’ll be excited to join me in this endeavour!

The recipient of the fundraising effort will be Honour House, a cause close to my heart as a Mum to a first responder. Here’s a little bit about this wonderful not for profit organization.

Honour House is a refuge, a “home away from home” for members our Canadian Armed Forces, Veterans, Emergency Services Personnel (police, fire and EMT) and their families to stay free of charge while they are receiving medical care and treatment in the Metro Vancouver area.

Here’s how the virtual fundraising party works:

• Participants will select one of our all inclusive card kits from those available in my online store
• If you prefer I can order for you and ship directly to you or you can ask me to order and pick up from my porch pickup
• We will gather together to put together our kits (you don’t all need the same kit) on November 6th on ZOOM so we can chat and play as we assemble our projects
• They’ll be a separate raffle of prizes with all proceeds going to Honour House
• I’ll have PRIZES too
• For each kit sold $7.00 (my commission) will be donated to Honour House
• All orders will receive a free PDF with instructions for 6 cards using the Painted Christmas Suite Collection
