How cute is this snowman from the Christmas Crew Bundle? The bundle features three adorable characters—a snowman, reindeer and moose—that are so much fun to colour with Stampin’ Blends. Each character has its own personality, making it easy to create playful Christmas cards that are sure to bring a smile!
For the card base, I used the Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder to add wonderful texture to the Real Red cardstock. To create a snowy effect, I added little white flicks of colour using the White Craft Stampin’ Pad and an Aqua Painter. This is such a fun and easy technique for adding a sprinkle of snow to your Christmas cards, and no two backgrounds will ever look quite the same!
I finished the card with Red and White Baker’s Twine, wrapped around the embossed layer and tied in a bow, along with a few Red and White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints for an extra festive touch. Between the bright red background, the fresh green mat, and that adorable snowman, this card is full of Christmas cheer!
I added some snow with the stamp image and Balmy Blue ink and then added some dimension with the White Gel Pen. I created the snow drifts by ripping Basic White paper and added Pool Party ink to the edges with a Blending Brush.
