It's Border Buddy Saturday and it's Alison here this week. Patsy and I have been having fun with our 12 Weeks of Christmas series.
I've been featuring the Stitched Shapes Framelit dies on my blog this week and this shaker card uses these amazing dies. I haven't made a shaker card in a while and it's so easy with our new Foam Adhesive Strips – you can bend them to any shape.
Stampin' Up! made this video showing how easy it is to use our strips to make a shaker card.
I used the Flurry of Wishes stamp set to stamp the tag with Poor Party and Dapper Denim inks. I tied in both colours with the cardstock and ribbon. The Flurry of Wishes stamp set is on sale during the Online Extravaganza sale starting on Monday! Who doesn't love a sale and these stamps will be 20% the regular price!
I filled the shaker with Mica Flakes (ohhhh also on sale next week for 30% off the regular price) from the Holiday catalogue. You can't go wrong when you add some Gold Metallic Thread to any card and I slipped some under the tag. The Rhinestones are coloured with a gold permanent sharpie just to add some bling!
Here are the products I used in today's card:
