Border Buddy Saturday – Cool Treats!

It's Border Buddy Saturday today and it's Alison here this week!

I know it's hard to think of warm summer nights and ice cream during the weather most of us are experiencing these days but the Cool Treats Photopolymer Stamp Set in the Occasions catalogue help me dream of warmer days.  I love how you can create some dimension to your popsicle by adding the 2 step stamping images in layers. 

The Cool Treats stamp set is part of a suite that includes the matching Frozen Treats Framelits Dies (don't you love that you don't have to fussy cut out the images?), Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Tasty Treats Designer Washi Tape which is featured across the middle of the card.

Just running the Washi tape across the card you can create this easy design.  The "You're" and "Sweet" sentiments are separate so super each to ink up with different colours!

At my January launch party, Lisa Flint, demonstrated this fun card using the set and framelits.  Seriously this sundae looks good enough to eat! The Washi Tape is featured on this card too. 

Both cards use the Stitched Shapes framelits as the perfect detail for the main ice cream images. They cut out circles, squares and ovals and add the stiched line at the same time.

You could add sprinkles to your ice cream chocolate topping too but I'm not a sprinkle girl so I added the cherry on top and the spoon!

On last little card using the stamp set and framelits – I sure would like that ice cream cone about now.
