I've been busy creating some cards using the Alpine Adventures Bundle of products. The bundle includes the alpine Adventure Stamp Set and Alpine Sports Thinlits Dies. When you purchase them together you save 10%.
I've used a few stamps and elements on my card share today including the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies (we'll be featuring these in our November Border Buddy Free Card program!); the Sheet Music background stamp, the Christmas Staircase Thinlits and the Leaf Punch.
When you use different textures and layer your images you can create definition and interest on your card. I started by embossing the Cherry Cobbler layer using the Sheet Music stamp and White Emboss Powder. You will see that I didn't stamp the entire image because I wanted it too look vintage. I achieved this by not pressing all the inked stamp on the paper and brushing off some of the powder before heat setting. I don't mind the specks of emboss powder left behind. It adds to the look.
Here are the products I used in today's card – just click on the picture and you'll be directed to my online store.
