Stamp Crazy with Alison

Quiet Meadow Bundle

December 16, 2021 by Alison Solven

Today I’m sharing a card using the Quiet Meadow Bundle which includes the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set and Meadow Dies. When you purchase them together you save 10%!

Quiet Meadow Bundle

I love the Shabby Chic look and I used to stamp cards a lot with this eclectic look in years past. I think this stamp set is perfect for this technique.

Shabby Chic Quiet Meadow Bundle

Shabby Chic is really stamping multiple images in different hues of similar colours to create a collage look. Then adding some ink and roughing up the edges of the card. I used Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Bumblebee inks, stamping off some of the images on scrap paper to make them lighter.

In my card today I also added some embossing and included rustic elements like the Linen Thread and Brushed Metallic Adhesive Dots. The Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder added some dimension and texture to both the stamped image and the Soft Suede mat layer.

I love the look of shabby chic and it really is easy because you can’t really mess up – if you drop a stamp that’s fine as it adds to the whole look. I used some of the coordinating dies on two of the cards here and “dirtied” them up by adding some coordinating inks to the die cut images.
