Perennial Lavender Suite Collection

Today I’m sharing three cards I made on my recent Youtube Live. I received an email from Stampin’ Up! with some ideas for alternative projects using the Lovely Lavender Paper Pumpkin kit. The January 2024 kit coordinates beautifully with the Perennial Lavender Suite.

I didn’t have the Paper Pumpkin kit so I recreated the ideas using the Perennial Lavender Suite. This is called CASE (copy and selectively edit). It’s a good idea when you can’t think of something creative to make. So using a layout and idea from a card you find can be changed up to work with what you have on hand.

I glued a piece of Perennial Lavender 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper to the front of a Basic White card (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″; scored at 4 1/4″) and added a strip of Crumb Cake along the middle. Then I embossed it with the Painted Posies 3D Embossing Folder to add dimension. If you don’t have a specific coloured ribbon you want for a project you can add a strip of cardstock to mimic the look.

The “love” and “greenery” dies are from The Love of Spring Dies, an add on for the January – March 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kits. The dies can be purchased using Item #164396 for $16.50 CDN. They coordinate with each kit in the Jan – Mar quarter.
